I see your heart,

It's message stuttering 

and dying.

Stay close to the lights

of others

Don't be afraid to heal.

For we all need safe hands 

when we are thrown

into hell's jaws.

Humanity, being human,

can be a journey 

into nightmare.

The light is more powerful,

It whispers to you 

in the dark,

letting you know 

it will always be with you.

Even when it stutters 

and disappears,

like a new Moon.

We all face pain 

and death alone,

yet we are surrounded 

by so much love, 

If only we knew.

Say a prayer for those 

who face terrors.

We are an evolving race,

and we need to learn 

to love,

when all our instincts 

are telling us the opposite.

Love is real,

Love is the light.
